Monday. A fine day but very cold wind N. Wellie, Voltie and Wells drew two logs for barn frame from Lindas, then Grace came down from Williams with Will & the Ministers. Then Voltie & Grace start for the villiage at 8 oclock, going to the ball. M at school. Maude at home. Dick Brown came to W Dixon's from Gananoque
Tuesday 6th Feb 1894. A fine day, Wind South. V & G came home early this morning in time for breakfast. Had a fine time at the Ball. They went to bed and slept till nearly three o'clock p.m. Wells drove to Millens Bay for kerosine found the roads difficult to travel. Will & Dick here grinding axes. Wellie here running net got none - gave him sweet milk and sour cream. A dance at Eben Joslins. George & Lill Niles, Maud & Mart went to school to day
