Sir I beg leave to tender you my resignation as Entry Taker of Lincoln County and hope you will accept the same with the assurance of my most respectful consideration

Permit me to recommend Mr. William T. Ross to fill the vacancy of Entry Taker for Lincoln County M^r. Ross is a young man of fidelity and well qualified to discharge the duties of the office and I presume will be the only applicant as the profits of the office are small.
