Petition to Extend City Limits of Seattle To the Honorable, the City Council, the Legislative Body of the said city of Seattle, hereby respectfully petition that the boundaries of the City of Seattle be altered and extended so as to include the new territory hereinafter described within the said City of Seattle after proceedings had as required by law, and that you submit to the electors of said city and to the electors residing in the said territory hereinafter described, the question whether said territory shall be annexed to said City of Seattle and become a part thereof. To the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle:Your petitioners, who are owners of property on or near the line of the proposed street railway for which Mr. S L Bowman applied on the 27th inst. to your honorable body for a franchise, repectfully petition your honorable body to grant said franchise, believing that the construction of said proposed line will assist in the development of the portion of said city and of the adjacent country through which it is intended to run, and will be of great benefit to the whole city.
