A clear day and colde. Ben and Josie and Hellen and Virginia come to the house half past two oclock this morning. We have bin a drowsy crowd to day. Ben went to the mill this morning. This evening he moved the stove and all the things that they had at the cabbin back where they belong.

Josie got dinner. She baked a pudding that we all enjoyed. To night Ben and Hellen and Virginia has gone to Mr Mayhews to a party. Josie and the children are all a sleep.

A rainy morning. Has not rained so much to day. We all staid at home until after dinner.

Ben went to Mayhews. Jim went to Marvins. George Blair come this evening. I was so sorry that the boys was not at home.

Josie got dinner. She cooked corn & butter beans and made a pudding. We all enjoyed our dinner.

10 oclock

Heard tonight that Jack Harvey & Bob Booker got home this evening.

A very colde day. Partly cloudy. Jim & Ben hauled in some feed then stripped tobacco for Mr Owen. Tonight they went to Marvins to help tye tobacco. Josie ironed some this morning. We both had a hand in getting dinner. We cooked cabbage & beans and made a crum pudding. I have set by the fire all that I well could. The children went to school. Heard today that Dorothy Worsham has scarlet fever. Mrs Edmons is very sick. Her daughter Mrs Hutcherson went to stay with her. I hope they all will soon be well.

A beautiful day. Jim & Ben shucked corn all day or a bout. I went and shucked one shock.

Josie both had a hand getting dinner. Josie baked a cream puding. It was fine. This evening I went to Marvins. Kate Harvey was there. She did not stay late. I was glad to see her. Osker come down here this evening. Irvin Harvey was with him. Oscar brough Ben clover seed. He got some butter. They had company to night.

Henry and Edna went to school to day.

A rainy day most of the day. Mrs Reynols was buried this evening. Ben went to the burial with Marvin. Jim staid at home all day. Josie got dinner. She baked a molasses pudding. It was fine.

I went to Georg Blairs. Lottie Craddock and her children was there. Isla was sewing. Denia & Cordie was makeing Edieth a doll. Denia was bakeing light rolls.

Willie Hutcherson and his mother went to Mrs. Reynols burial.
