COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE

Nov 2, 1883

Be it remembered that on this day the 2d day of November 1883 the Common Council of the city of Seattle meets in its Council chamber pursuant to law.

The following officers are present to wit: His Honor the Mayor H.G Struve and Councilmen Thomas Clancy, B.F. Day, Charles McDonald, U.M. Rasin, Otto Ranke, & F.W. Wusthoff.

Thereupon the following proceedings are had.

Petitions Rec'd

From L. J. Powell et al for a gas lamp corner 4th & Seneca Streets. Referred to Gas Committee From D.R. McKinlay et al for a gas lamp corner 5th & Washington Streets. Referred to Gas Committee. From Frahm & Simpson for an extension of time until December 1, 1883 in which to complete the improvement of 9th Street. Referred to Street Committee From Frahm & Simpson for an extension of time until December 1, 1883 in which to complete the Improvement of South 4th Street. Referred to Street Committee. From O.A. Hohn for the right to use a portion sidewalk on Second Street corner of Washington Street. Referred to Street Committee. From Fire Warden & Foreman No. 1 for tanks corners 3rd & Washington & 3rd & Madison Streets. Referred to Fire Committee.
