A good day. We Mollie and I are at Willies.

Went down town early and Mollie bought some things then we started for the boat. Went on street car a mile or so then on the boat. Eat supper and had a berth. We had fish and steak cauiflowers and lettuce salid ice cream and cake and coffee for supper. Was all night and until seven next morning getting to Portsmouth.

This wrote the 17th. I could not find a pen or pencil last night.

A good day. Mollie and I come home to day.

Johnson and Robert and Christenia met Mollie.

Ben and Edna met me. We made the trip from Portsmouth home all right. Howard Ferguson come with us to the depot. Julia and Howard was just as nice to us as they could be.

I found them all as well as usual. Had two cows to come fresh while I was gone. I have bin well while I was gone. To night my tooth hurts me.

A good day. John Brumfield was here. Ben did not do much work. He moved the fence so the cows could go to the straw stacks.

Josie got dinner. She had baked chicken and beef steak. I think we all enjoyed the dinner. Mrs Carr has a bad colde.

This evening Ben carried John to Gretna. I went with them. Tenia met John at Gretna. He said that he would go back to Portsmouth tomorrow.

Willie Mayhew carried his family to Chatham to day on his truck. Gasoline gave out and he got some from Ben to get the truck home.

A good day and warmer.

Ben & Jim & Owen worked on some corn land all the morning. This evening Ben carried Josie and Henry and I to Cedar Forest. Josie done some dealing at Mrs Hendricks then went to Jim Powers. I fished. Did not catch any much. Ben paid Ren Worsham for the guano this evenin. Josie got salit for dinner. I went to Mollies this morning. Guess we will go to Portsmoth tomorrow.

The olde hog eat my hen today that had some little chickens. I am so sorry that she will eat chickins.

A good day. I was at home this morning. Mollie & Mrs Farmer and went to Portsmoth. Had a good trip. Julia Fergerson met us at the station. Howard met us at the boat.

John & Henry Brumfield met us at Howards. I was glad to see them.
