A clear colde day.

We had a storm last night. It thundered and rained and the wind blowed very hard. Ben mended his fire place this morning then went to Renan. He helped Marvin strip tobacco this evening. To night he has gone to Strait Stone to the lodge.

I got breakfast this morning. Ben milked. Josie got dinner and washed dishes fed the chickens and calves. I have not tried to do anything out doors to day. Was afraid I might fall. I got a nice letter from Effie to day.

I went to Marvins this evening. I worked some button holes in the childrens clothes. Tonight I have ripped up an old skirt of Carries that Miss Alice Hubbard made before Carrie was married.

She is thinking of making some pants for Roy.

Ben has gone to Strait Stone to the lodge.

The little baby has bin very cross. She has a colde. I hope she wont get sick and they can all keep well. I beg for strength and patience to stand what I have to. The children dont treat me as they should I dont think.
