Do you know how few letters I get. Jeez Louise! Whats cookin, huh? I don't know who owes who, but I think you owe me unless you count those 2 in a row as answering 2 of mine in which case I'm still in the whole. Did I write you since Rome. I think I did. At least I meant to. I don't know what to write now. Ask Ray if I have written him I can't remember. I don't think so. know. He said how neat relationships were - that no one acts the same w/ a different person. And that life is a synthesis of going along happily and bad tragic parts which you grow from. It doesn't sound right now that I write it. He said it in a way that made sense and that I hadn't thought of before. Rats! I can't say it or think it. Well,I made the attempt. That was all pretty dumb.
You should come here, Mary (that's you). I love it here. Switz is so beautiful. I couldn't believe the view on top of this Mt. in the Alps. You would love it. Thanks again (I think) for all the trouble you went to to get my papers. Weren't so exciting [coming?]. Rats again. Thank you.
