February 16: [continued from previous page] Keeper went to Newport after supples. Barometer 29.03. Mr. Wiltshire working on cistern. Plumbers arrived at the station from Portland at 10:15 A.M. to set up the hot water heater. Mr Woodworth brought nails from Newport to the station today.

17: Fresh breeze East to light south wind these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours fair weather. Last part of 24 hours rain sea smooth. Barometer 29.88. 1st and 2nd assit cleaning paint work in lantern. Mr. Wiltshire and men helping plumbers put in heater. Mr. Woodworth hauling sand and gravel for cistern.
