Continued Mozart: symphonies 27-30, violin concertos 1-5. By now he’s crowding twenty and maturing by leaps and bounds. Wound up with the “Votterno Serenade (k. 239); tried Piano con. 8 but found the commercial tape defective. Must record it (along with con. 22) from my records.

Walked to Morningside to see Tunkie, but I once more found him asleep and didn’t disturb him. Macaroni lean Cuisine left me hungry. Watched TV tape off on Rock Road specials: “Spinal Tap.” Funny.
