Mary unarrived. Continued reading Tactius till time for “World Turns,” then called airport to check on flight 108; found it arrives at 2:15 – ten minutes ahead of schedule. Left house at 1:40; parked at 1:50; record time on arrive. Gwyn arrived at 2:15, as promised. Announced she’s quit smoking, with – help of nicotine –laced chewing gum.

Peking dinner, my way of easing re-entry into home life and the shock of withdrawal from smoking, Not to mention jet lag.
