Finished Clarissa before noon, exactly one month after I bought and began it in New York; a surprisingly rich experience. I avoided for years (after various reasons, including its inaccessibility) reading one of the greatest English novels, superior- in its way - to even the greatest, including Tom Jones.
Left arm pains in night, again. I may see a doctor about it if it persists. Damn.
We went at 5:30 to the Jand Fonda movie at The Plaza. Nothing was as good as we hoped, but alas, they seldom are.
Chicken and vegetable Lean Cuisine for me when we got home from the movie.
Word from Margaret that she's leaving the Gilmore at the Gilmore's request. Peggy's taking the lead, this time, in getting them resettled, somewhere on Monroe near Belvedere. All but hopeless, I'm afraid.
