29 SUNDAY
Went to Sunday school in morning
and taught Primary. Ian Keith was christened
after chapel. Was not very well in afternoon
so layed on bed. Hr F L. Hump &
Miss Vue came to tea Tom came in evening.

30 MONDAY
Packed my case in morning. Left
our house at 11-45. Arrived at Station
at 4:45. Met at Liverpool St. by
Auntie Marjory. Went for walk with
Sheila in evening.

31 TUESDAY
Went shopping with Sheila in
morning. Auntie Daisy, Beryl Ann
Christopher and Margaret came for day.
Went paddling in river. Went to Hinchley Wood
in evening

SEPTEMBER 1 WEDNESDAY
* Went to Kingston in morning and
wandered round shops. Bought Mummy a
smock in Bentalls. Had dinner at Lyons
Went to pictures in afternoon.

2 THURSDAY
Lovely day. Went to Hampton
court and Esher in morning Visited
Hampton Court Palace in afternoon
and had tea on banks of Thames

3 FRIDAY
Quite nice day. Went to Kingston
by bus and walked along the tow path
to Teddington and watched boats. Had
dinner in Lock gardens played Buccaneer in []
4 SATURDAY
Wrote to Mummy in morning and
then went to Hinchley wood and went
blackberring on Telegraph hill. Had a
picnic in tent on lawn in afternoon
Kathleen came home in evening
