Read in the afternoon. Went for a long walk in evening with Sheila 6 MONDAY Showery day Went to Chesington zoo with Sheila. Saw the animals went to circus and Peeriot Show and had a good time on the amusements. got home at about 8 o'clock. 7 TUESDAY Windy day. Went and got some sweets in morning and then read a book. Took Ann for a long walk and went to Auntie Daisy's for tea. Had letters from Mummy & FL Hump 8 WEDNESDAY Lovely day. Went to Walton by bus and had dinner and tea by the Thames. Went paddling and read most of time. Read and packed in evening 9 THURSDAY Got up at six o'clock and caught 8.20 train. Met by Edna. Caught bus from station. Lovely day. Bathed Peter in afternoon. 10 FRIDAY Damp rainy day. Cycled to Sutton with Humps in morning . All went to Ely in afternoon and went round cathedral. George came in evening. he is now a Pilot Officer 11 SATURDAY cycled in to Ely with Humps and went to the pictures Frank is painting our house.	43 SEPTEMBER 1943 5 SUNDAY Went to Molesey Chapel with Uncle Billy in morning.
