New Moon 1.59 a.m.
Started
school again. Did not have first two
lessons as checked books and things. Had Gym.
Did maths in free lesson. Had a French
and Geometry test in afternoon. Mummy and Daddy
went to see George in afternoon. Jimmy is up in a
chair.

25 Fri
Cold day with rain at intervals.
Did needlework in my free lesson. Had
quite a nice needlework lesson doing
buttonholes. Had to play hockey in the
afternoon. Did homework in evening.

26 Sat-s.r. 6.54, s.s. 5.33
Rather dull day.
Helped Mummy in the morning and started
to write an essay on habits. Went to see
George in afternoon and afterwards Nina
took Janet & I out to tea to the Bell
Had a lovely time. Finished my essay
in the evening.
Oxford won cambridge in the boaters
boatrace

Examine the autum-planted Cabbage bed, and fill
up any existing blanks from plants in the nursery seed-
bed. Hoe the bed as soon as the soil is in a fit condition.
Where a new bed is required, now is a good time to
divide Rhubarb and replant on well-prepared ground.

Held between Littleport and Ely.
