March 3rd Month 1945

4 Sun-3rd in Lent Wet windy day
Bill came in before breakfast and
lit fire and got tea Gordon & Eric
popped in too. Went to S. School in
morning and taught Primary. Went again in
afternoon. Went to Chapel in evening. The
RAF padre preached Betty & Geo Phang
came with us.

5 Mon Went to school.
Carried on with disection of dog
fish in Biology. Had to copy up
notes in free lesson. Started thonging
Mummy's purse in art. Copied notes
for homework. Gordon came in
for a little while.

6 Tues
Lovely day but quite cold.
Had two biology lessons in
morning as well as French and English
came home in afternoon and history
essay. Betty & Penny came to tea.
Bill & Gordon popped in in evening
Woo came in evening to spend HS with
us.

7 Wed- Moon's last quarter 4.30 a.m.
Quite nice day. Except for art only
had two history lessons. Went to see
Mrs Hump in d..hour. Hump is posted.
Went to pictures with Bill & two of his
friends to see Pennies from Heaven
