MARCH 3rd Month 1945

18 Passion Sun-5th in Lent Lovely day
but very windy. Went to S. School
morning and taught Primary. Went to S. School
again in afternoon. Bill came in twice during
day. Mummy & Daddy went to Littleport in
evening. Janey & I stayed at home. Gordon
came in.

19 Mon Very windy wet day. Still
doing dogfish in biology. Wrote to
Sheila in free lesson. Continued doing
wallet in art. Finished writing to Sheila
and did HW in evening. Bill came in and we
had a sham fight. Leslie came in and cut
Daddy hair. Listened to a play on wireless
about Shakleton.

20 Tues- Moon's first quarter 7.11 p.m.
Spring Equinox Deny's birthday
I was forced to give my beloved Kim
away to an Airman. Had lessons
as usual in morning. Did French in
free lesson. Came home in afternoon
and did H.W. Gordon came to tea.

21 Wed First of Spring. Glorious day
Got a lot of wallet done in art.
Had nice singing lesson and lovely game
of netball. Had notes in history..
Did gardening in evening. Did some
of lawn. Went for a walk with
Janet.
