1945 31 Days May

17 Th Very hot day. Current event
lesson not bad. Did history
in all my free lessons. French
very boring. Had some fun in biology
in afternoon. Spent all the
evening finishing a history essay.
Gordon came to supper.

18 Fri- Moon's first quarter 10.12 p.m.
Fairly nice day. Had two history
lessons and scripture lessons were
terrible. Messed about in free lesson
and had a bit of a quarrel with Betty
but made it up after dinner. Played
rounders in afternoon. Started an English
essay in evening and had a practise.

Quite a cold day. *
19 Sat Cleaned bathroom in morning
and went to Sutton & did all the
errands. Drove tractor and helped with
painting of car in afternoon. Eric came
to tea. Had some fun with Gordon &
Eric in the evening. Judy came to
supper. Didn't go to bed until 12 o'clock
