1945 31 Days MAY

Bill comes back.

24 Th--Empire Day Rather cool day.
Had interesting current events lessons.
Did biology in free lessons. Did drawing
in biology all the afternoon. Did a little
H.W. in evening & then drove tractor
for Gordon. Betty came back from course.

25 Fri Quite warm day. Gordon
posted to Catterick. Scripture lesson
very boring and history lessons all
notes. Played tennis in afternoon with
Betty, Pam Cranwell & Jean Crowe. We lost.
Did H.W. & had a practice in evening.
Washed my hair.

Cool showery day.
26 Sat.

Helped Mummy in the morning.
Did veges. Had a bath in afternoon.
Did various odd jobs and had a
practise in evening. Bill came in
for a short time. Went to bed
early.
