1945 MAY-JUNE

31 Th-Corpus Christi Quite a nice
day. Didn't have current events, so
had four free lessons. Didn't get much
work done. Did notes all the afternoon.
Played tennis after school with upper VIth.
Had a practise and messed about in
evening. Gordon came for supper

1 June Fri Very windy day
Scripture lessons exceptionally boring
and history lessons all notes. Went
out in dinner hour & got some sweets.
Had some fun in rounders in afternoon
Messed about in evening. Betty & Ted
came. Also Gordon.

2 Sat
Very showery day. Helped Mummy
all the morning. Peggy left on
the early bus. Gordon came
for tea and supper. Had a
bath in afternoon. Did some
of an essay in evening.
Janet went to sick bay to
see Penny.
