JUNE 6th Month 1945

17 Sun--3rd after Trinity St. Alban
Moon's first quarter 2.5 p.m. Lovely
day. Went to S. School in morning and
taught primary. Went to S. School again
in afternoon. We all went to Wardy Hill
[] & took Geo. Phang & Eric with us.
It was their anniversary.

* 18 Mon Lovely day, disected frog
in biology. Had free lesson instead of
French. Notes in history. Watched
Betty Drake's wedding in dinner hour.
Didn't do much in art. Couldn't get
the time right in music lesson. Cut
flowers & drove tractor in evening.

19 Tues Very hot day. Helped Mummy
in the morning and picked some
strawberries. Had a practise and
picked strawberries in afternoon.
Sunbathed after tea. Bill came in.
Drove the tractor for Daddy. Betty
came in for a short time.

20 Wed Quite a windy day with showers.
Had a letter from Gordon.
The AOC came & inspected the camp.
Very busy ironing all the morning. A
Waaf Marie helped pick strawberries
all day. Geo. Phang came to dinner.
Mowed lawn in afternoon. Had a
practise and wrote to Gordon.
