1945 AUGUST-SEPTEMBER

30 Thu --( Moon's last quarter 3.44 a.m
Cool Wet day. Helped Mummy
in the morning. Peeled a load of
apples. Nev. came in. Read & cleaned
out a draw in afternoon. Titia, []
cousin came to stay with us. She is [9][]
and very sweet. Had a practise in evening.

31 Fri Had a parcel of choc and a letter
from Gordon. Lovely day.
Helped Mummy all the morning. Nev
came in. Went to Ely in afternoon.
and got Titia's ration cards saw Betty &
went to dressmakers. Put Titia to bed & read to
her. Gordon came back. Eric & Bunty came in.

1 Sept. Sat-- Partridge Shooting begins --
ends February 1st Daddy's birthday.
Quite a nice day. Helped
Mummy all the morning Did veges.
Had a bath in afternoon . Mummy
& Daddy went to Cambridge. Gave
Titia a bath & put her to bed in
evening. Lots of L for G.
