April 20 Good Friday
O the goodness of God in proloning my life to this anniversary
day, O may the dear people keep this fast to the lord
and have their souls fed with bread of eternal life
this day is the last of lent,
Fore year past Lydia and myself keep forty day lent we
atte no meat all that time, no one knew of our keeping it
but our self, we felt much happier and injoyed the
fast O that my frail body would permit me to keep a fast
I know that the lord is able to strength me, if I look to
him for a blessing
Almighty God we beseech the Graciously to behold thus thy
famley for which our lord jesus christ was contented to be
betrayed, and given up into the hands of wicked men, and
to suffer death upon the cross : who now livith and reigneth
with thee and the holy ghost over one god. world wothout
end, Amen.
