May 22 very cold and the wind very high for the Season
I have has Sweet Sleep to night and am better in my health,
let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort,
according to thy word unto thy Servent
I know, O lord that thy judgments are right, and that
thou in faithfulness has offlicted me
My dear Estionable friend Mr Cleaveland has been
raised from a Severe Illness and called to See me, his
heart is filled with gratitude and thankfulness for
God Goodness to him Sharing his life, he maid
A Excellent prayr, it avinced that his Sickness has
been blessed to his Soul and his devotion to the
Missionary cause increased, it is my Earnest prayr
his valuable life may be prolong for many years,
[just?] recieved from Mr Keith of [Thomaston?] ME
two Bautiful fir trees, wich I have directed to be planted
by our tomb
