Receipt to make
Thunder Powder
Salt potre 3 parts
Salt of Tartar 2 parts
Flowers of Sulphur 1 part
Beat them into a fine
Powder and mix them
well together. lay as
much of it as will lay
on a Shilling upon an
Iron plate or fire shovel
and set it upon a clear
fire. when it grows hot
