4 Good Ship Nimrod 1833 Saturday 23 Commences with good weather 2 sales in site I am a weake behind on account of being un well Mister Barns has been verry much trouble with teeth ake and and swell face the week past we have killed 5 or 6 saved onley 2 on acount of being so rugged yesterday we saw 2 whales struck one and ciled him took him along side hooked on to him and took his lip and 3 blank [stamp of a whale] peaces and by accident the peace tore and horser parted the whale sunk [-] trying Foster unwell so ends the hard luck Lat 36 33 Lon 7 12
