Thursday June 20th 1822 Light winds and pleasant from the southward. Steared E S East and S E by East saw nothing. Employed in sundrys. Lat by obs 39"04 Long 37"55

Friday June 21th 1822 All these 24 hours light breezes and fine weather at NE head ES East.At 4 PM spoke the ship Neptune of New York Brown master a cuting in a sperm whale. So ends. Lat by obs 38"44 Long 36"00

Saturday June 22nd 1822 All these 24 hours light winds and pleasant from N E to North. At 1 PM took ship to N West. Employed in sundrys. So ends. [John Hand?] Lat by obs 38"35 Long 35"20

Sunday June 23rd 1822 These 24 hours light winds and smooth weather from NW to West stear ENE and N East. At 4 PM spok the brig [Mars?] of London bound for Baltimore his long 32'28 at 1/2 past 4 got a Lunar obs long 32'28 ends with light winds and cloudy weather the Neptune in sight. Trying. Lat by DR 38"58 Long 31"49
