sight the brig June in sight ends rugged

Continues fresh winds and rugged from S West
with considerable smell run along down to the East
of [fayal?] at 4 P M spoke the [mantha?] of new bedford
had nothing move ship and double reefed the
top sails head N W and S W by South at sun
down take in sail at day Light make sail
double reefed top sails and stear S West

Monday July 8th “ 1822
Fresh winds and rugged at S West
moving to windward by the South and of flones
saw nothing so ends this day of our [Lond?]

ran through betwixt Flores and [Gauses?] saw
the Jones and Comedore Perry of New London
in with the Land A Tradeing steared to the
