This 24 hours Comences with a heavy Gale of wind from the S. W Laying too under a close reef main Top Sail heading N. N. W per compass at 6 o clock P. M Set the Fore Sail and kept off our coarse the weather more moderate at 11 O clock at night Set all Sail the wind about 4 points free Latter part took in the Top Galient Sails and fly Jib Employd in Ships duty Saw nothing So Ends this 24 hours
