Commenced with fresh breezes from
the Sleward Steering by the wind
Middle and Latter part STrong Gles
from the N ward. Steering SE by S
per Compass the day being the Sabbath
no labour done more then occasion

Monday 24 th

Begins with Strong Gales from the
N ward & pleasant weather Steering
S E by S latter part the wind cont
to the E ward Steered by the wind -
to the S ward but S are nothing worth
remarks So Ends all well. Lat

Tuesday 25 th

Began with fresh Gales from the
N E ward. Ship under double reefed
Top Sails steered by the wind to the
[leward?] latter part the wind conts
to the S E ward weather the same
all hands employed in getting the
whaling gear So Ends All Well.
