Theese 24 hours Commenced with fresh winds
winds from E by Sth Steering S by E by
compass under single reefed Top Sails
at 2 P M sit the fore & main Top gallant
sails bent the mizen but did not set it
middle & latter part wind & weather about
the same at 7 A M sent down the fore
Top Gallant yard unbent the Sail larboard
watch Employed in fitting the yard So Ends

Began with fresh winds & pleasant weather
Ship under Single reefed Top Sails Steering
Sth by compass at 2 P M turned out the
reefs & set the Top Gallant Sails unbent
the main sail & stowed it below & bent an
othermiddle part weather increaisng furled
our Top gallant sails latter part more
moderate sit then again at 7 A M steered
Sth by W at 10 made Martin Vass bearing
