Employed in Sundry jobs of Ships duty
as occasion required So Ends all well

Began with Fresh breezes at E steering S S E
with all sail set at 2 P M unbent the
fore Top Sail & Stowed it below & bent
another Saw a munber of hump backs
but no whates at sun set fuled our
Top Gallant Sails latter part weather moderate
Sit all sail Saw a plenty of finbacks
the day being the Sabbath no labour done
more than occaseion required So goes the time
