The day began with light breezes from the
Sth W ward Ship under all sail Steering
N W middle & latter part Strong winds
together with rain at noon Tacked Ship
& steered to the East ward So passed the day

Thursday the 17 th

Throughout the day fresh Gales from the
N ward & rain Ship under all sail Steering East
by compass saw nothing worth remarks this
