Saturday 6th April 1850 Commenced with Light wind from SW and thick weather Ship under all sail steering NW A Brig in sight steering the same way Middle and last parts had fresh wind from NNE and thick stand to the N West watch variously employed supposed Latitude Longitude

Sunday 7th April 1850 Commenced with strong wind from NE[?] and thick weather steering to the Wward [WESTWARD] Ship under all Sail Middle and Last parts wind and weather nearly the same at 8 AM discovered three Men that had Secreted themselves Onboard in the Night unbeknown to the Captain or Mates as soon as the Captain heard of it he sent for them aft to ascertain thair [THEIR] business On Makeing [MAKING] inquiry of them he found thay [THEY] had deserted Ship Adisom [ADDISON] of Newbedford [NEW BEDFORD] whle laying in Port and for fear of being taken had secreted themselves Onboard the Timor in the night he told them if he was not so far from the land he Woul[D] carry them back but afterwards Shiped [SHIPPED] them for the Cruise so ends In Latitude Longitude

Monday 8th Began with a fine [...] from S East and plesant [PLEASANT] weather Ship under all [...] steering NW Middle and last parts had strong wind from SW send up the Main royal yard and set the sail In Latitude Longitude
