Saturday 27th April 1850 Throughout this Day had plesant [PLEASANT] weather and light Trades steering NW by W finished Coopering and stowing 170 Barrels of Meete [MEAT] and 25 Barrels of Flour saw A Ship standing to the SW by the Wind set up the Bobsays [BOBSTAYS] and brake [BROKE] out for water in Latitude 12..17 Longitude 94..30

Sunday 28th Commenced with plesant [PLEASANT] Trades steer NW by W per Compass Middle and Last parts had nearly the same weather Steer the same course Caught three Albacore the Day being the sabbath all hands employed Reading In Latitude 11..04 Longitude 95..30

Monday 29th Commenced plesant [PLEASANT] weather steer NW by W Broke out and Cooper 14 cask[S] of Bread and stowed it back and Calked [CAULKED] the Blubber Room and did severel [SEVERAL] other Jobs So ends In Latitude 1..44 south Longitude 97..00

Tuesday 30th Commenced pleasant weather and light Trades Employed Brakeing [BREAKING] out the main Hatch Middle and Latter parts had nearly the same weather take 13 Cask[S] of water and stow them in forward to trim the Ship and commenced Preparing the Oil Tank so ends in Lat [LATITUDE] 8..14 Longitude 98 50

Wednesday May 1st 1850 Throughout theese [THES] 24 hours had plesant [PLEASANT] weather and A fine breeze from SE by E Ship under all sail steering NW by W finished Coopering and Tared [TARRED] the head stays saw one finback so Ends in Latitude 6..46 Longitude 100..05

Thursday 2ond Began with fresh Trades and Dark weather steer the same Course starbord [STARBOARD] watch Employed Taring [TARRING] the Main Rigging took out a Tow line and Coated one half of it and got out Button[?] Last part had light wind from the same way starbord [STARBOARD] watch employed Lashing a Spar up by the Main Mast so ends In Latitude Longitude

Opened B [BEEF?] P [PORK?] 3 [...] 2 bbrls [BARRELS]

Friday 3th [RD] Throughout this day had plesant [PLEASANT] weather and a fine breeze from S East steered our Course until we raised Sperm whales about 8 AM Lowered and got one In Latitude Longitude

Saturday 4th Throughout this day had plesant [PLEASANT] weather and light wind from S East cut in our whale and began to boil In Latitude Longitude

Sunday 5th Had fine weather Throughout Em [EMPLOYED] boiling in the watches so ends I[N] Latitude Longitude

Tuesday 7th Throughout this Day had fair weather and light Trades steering NW Ship under all sail at Midnight finished Boiling Latter part Starbord [STARBOARD] watch Employed giting [GETTING] up the Blacksmith[']s forge so ends In Latitude Longitude

Wednesday 8th Had plesant [PLEASANT] weather throughout and a light breeze from S East and ES East Carry studding sails on boath [BOTH] sides. steering N West people Employed Taring [TARRING] Rigging in the watches so ends In Latitude Longitude

Thursday 9th Commenced light wind from ES East and plesant [PLEASANT] weather steering N West Middle and Last parts had baffling wind square and brace as required watch variably Employed as required nothing in sight but water and small fish so passed this day no Observation supposed Latitude L Longitude

Saturday 11th Throughout this Day had strong wind from SW and frequent Rain Ship under all sail steering N West People variously employed in the watches so ends In Latitude 7..34 Nth [NORTH] Longitude got out flour

Sunday 12th Throughout this Day had fresh wind from S West and some rain Ship under all sail steering N West nothing in sight but water and sea Fowls Latitude 9..30 Longitude

Monday 13th Commenced with dark weather and light wind from West brace sharp and steer by the wind to the Nward [NORTHWARD] Middle and Last parts had variable wind and frequent rain Steer NW when we can watch variously employed so ends in Latitude 9..50 Longitude

Opened Beef Pork 3 4 barrels

Tuesday 14th Throughout this day had Light baffling wind and frequent rain carry all sail and work to the N West watch to work on the Rigging so ends In Latitude 10..15 Long [LONGITUDE]
