Begins with light airs from NW. 4 PM returned to the ship again without any success excepting almost tired to death after having traveled about 16 miles. In the evening went on board the Antelope to the Theatre. Latter part strong breeze from NW. Thermometer standing at 17 below.

Begins with strong winds from NW. Latter part wind and weather much the same. Thermometer standing at 24 below.

Monday Jan [JANUARY] 30th

Begins with light winds from NW. Latter part light airs from NNW. Thermometer standing at 35 below.
