Wednesday June 18 This day we have fine weather. Wind from the N & W. Saw plenty of whales, most of them going fast. Struck and sunk one. Chace [CHASED] several times without success. So ends. Friday June 20th This day we have light airs and calms. Saw one sail. After sunset took a blasted whale alongside. Saturday June 21rst All of this 24 hours we have calm weather. Cut the whale in and commenced boiling. Saw two sail[S] but no whales. So ends. Latt [LATITUDE] Obs [OBSERVATION] 47 48 Long [LONGITUDE] by Acct [ACCOUNT] 163°=30" East

Sunday June 22 This day beganed [BEGAN] with light airs. Watch employed in boiling. Saw several ships and spoak [SPOKE] the [???] Sag Harbor with 500 bbls [BARRELS]. Saw 7 whales. Latter part of this day fresh wind from Eward [EASTWARD]. So ends. Lat [LATITUDE] 48 00 Long [LONGITUDE] 162..45

Monday June 23 This day begins with fogay [FOGGY] weather. Latter part fine with gentle breezes. Saw one sail and 3 or 4 whales going fast. Crew employed in boiling out. Latt [LATITUDE] by Acct [ACCOUNT] 48.45 So ends this day Long [LONGITUDE] by Acct [ACCOUNT] 163..00 East
