Tuesday Nov 4th Comes in with dirty weather. Squalls of wind from the N & E. Middle part pleasant with light breezes. Steer SE by S. Latter part thunder squalls with rain. Take in and sail often. No Obs [OBSERVATION]. Latt [LATITUDE] by DR [DEAD RECKONING] 9°=35" South Long [LONGITUDE] by Chro [CHRONOMETER] 159°=15" W

Wednesday Nov. 5th Comes in with thunder squalls and rain from the Northward. Steer SE by S. Middle part calm. Latter part a light breeze from E by N and pleasant. So ends. Latt [LATITUDE] Obs [OBSERVATION] 9=50 Long [LONGITUDE] by Chro [CHRONOMETER] 158° 55" West by Lunar 159°=23 West
