Commenced with freah wind from the S. employed strapping
cutting blocks. saw one sail.

Friday Feb 5th
Strong wind from the NE. at 8 PM had a heavy
squall of wind Thunder Lightning and rain. handed all sail
down to close reefed maintopsail. Lat 35.38 S Lon 160.20 E

Saturday Feb 6th
Fresh wind from ESE steering by the working Eastward
employed knotting spun yarns.

Sunday Feb 7th
Strong wind from E to N. Saw nothing.

Monday Feb 8th
WInd strong and squally from NE with some rain
saw a sail standing to Northward Lat 36.34 S Lon 163.26 E

Tuesday Feb 9th
Fresh wind from the W steering ESE nothing worthy of note

Wednesday Feb 10th
Moderate breeze from SW steering NE. hands making
spun yarn. Lat 35.38 S Longitude 168.04 E

Thursday Feb 11th
Light wind from SW steering NE. making spun yarn

Light winds and calm at daylight three Islands called
