Fresh breeze from ENE saw one sail at 5 PM foot
rope to Main Topsail parted the sail split. unbent it and
bent another.

Monday March 1st
Strong breeze from the E. employed making a
mizzed topsail out of an old Main topsail after sun
down saw some sperm Whale Lat 27.12 Lon 166.22 W

Tuesday March 2nd
COmes with fresh breezes from the E steering N by W
finished Mizzen Topsail and bent it Lat 25.05 S Lon 165.32

Wednesday March 3
Light air and calm. employed at setting up rigging

Thursday March 4th
Light winds employed at setting up rigging Lat 23.36 S

Friday March 5th
Light and variable. at work on rigging lat 22.40 S

Saturday march 6th
Squally wind from the N Fly Jib split in a squall
repaired and bent it again Lat 21.56 S

Sunday March 7th
This day paper with light baffling wind from the N
nothing happened worthy of note Lat 20.30 S

Monday March 8th
Fresh breeze from the N and E employed mending sails

Tuesday March 9th
Light breeze first part latter part calm had heavy shower
