Monroe County ss: On this 5 day of July
1862. before the undersigned duly
authorized by law to administer oaths personally ap
-peared Emeline Hinman and Jeremyah Page
residents of Penfield in Said county who being duly sworn
depose and say. that they were well acquainted with
the identical Columbus Page who was a private in Co
"H" 13th Regiment New York Volunteers in the existing Re
-bellion
war. and who died at Tortuga in January last.
that the Said Columbus Page left him surviving the
following his only children to wit:


Harriet Page aged 13 year the day of last
David Page aged 11 year the day of last
Stephen Page aged 9 year the day of last
Adyer Page aged 6 year the day of last
And they [-] they were well acquainted with the
family of Lois & Columbus Page.
And they Swear they are disinterested witnesses.

first above written and I certify that Emeline Hinman
and Jeremiah Page farther of Columbus Page, are credible witnesses and that I
am not interested in the result of this nor con
