My dear friend,

Two boxes of goods have arrived from England for you--one sent by Mrs. Webb of Dublin and the other by Mrs. R. L. Carpenter of Berkenhead, England. If you have Invoices of these boxes please forward them to me. It will probably take 10 days or 2 weeks before these goods can be entered & found by the CHouse. The ships had unusually long passage--60 days & more.

Duties will have to be paid on both. Yours' truly
