Minutes of meeting June 21st
The Pres. opened the meeting
by reading the 4th Chapter of
Judges: Dr Cady led in prayer.
The minutes of the previous
meeting were read, and approved.
The Sec'y then read a letter
from Mrs Henry, promising to
send petitions and pamphlets
as soon as received from the prin-
ter; and giving form of an ad-
vertisement which she desired
to have published in all Louis-
ville papers.
It was voted that ad-
vertisement be inserted, and
that where a charge was made
the funds of the Asso. be drawn
upon for that purpose.
Mrs Avery and Mrs Huber were
named as a committee to attend
to this business.
The following names were
given of those who were willing
to circulate Property Rights peti-
tions:- Mrs Johnson, Avery, Watts,
Huber, Cady, Duffries, Beeler, and
Bergmann.
The Treasurer being
absent, there was no report.
It was found that a
number of the members would
soon be absent from the city,
and after some discussion as to
