Dr Cady read an extract from "Southern
Journal", in answer to a slur in Cou-
rier Journal", on Mrs Henry's Pamphlet.
In which it was suggested that if
the women of Kentucky are as noble
as the women of other states, that
the "Courier Journal should demand
that they be given the same rights
that the men have.

"Woman Suffrage in Fact", was
read by Mrs Rogers, giving testimony
to the success of woman suffrage in
Kansas.

A motion was made by Mrs
Johnson that the meetings should
be continued semi-monthly, on the
first and third Friday afternoon.
Seconded, and carried.

The meeting was then adjourned.

October 18th. There not being a foreman
present, no regular business was trans-
acted. Among the matters informally
discussed was that of the Louisville Asso.
undertaking to have another thousand
of Mrs Henry's Married Woman's Property Rights pamphlets
printer; and the best methods for rais-
ing funds to meet the expense.
