Hours: 2:00 - 5:00
The home of Mr. and Mrs. James Messer is on the site of Fort San Luis de
Talimali, a Spanish fort built in 1640.

Much intriguing history of this interesting location, intermingled with legends,
superstitions and tales has been handed down for generations.

Behind the lovely Messer home is a vineyard which was planted in 1866 by a
Frenchman named Dubois. It still bears fruit.

On display will be pictures of the Old Fort, winery and the original home.
