from Florida who has the courage of his convictions and who therefore
has engaged in many furious but successful political battles.

He and his beautiful wife, Mildred, known for her grace and charm
throughout the Nation's Capital, reside here when in Florida and Senator
Pepper's mother, Mrs. J. W. Pepper, makes her home here permanently.
