Spring Valley Farm, owned by Mrs. Walter Richardson, is often de-
scribed as "that lovely place with the red silos and the snow white rail
fences."
On this rolling hillsite Governor Duval rode unarmed and alone into
a hostile Indian village to deliver an ultimatum to Chief Neamathla of the
Miccosukees.
Spring Valley possess a homelike charm.

Featured in the extensive display will be the silver of early Florida
governors. Other choice items are a covered dish of the English states-
man, Disraeli, a shoe buckle which belonged to George III, and an antique
caster of Florida Surveyor General, 1824. Also a teapot signed in 1806
by G. Eoff Silversmith and a spoon made of buttons from the uniform of
a colonel in the American Revolution.
