Board Meeting - Mar. 8, 1933-

The Board of the Woman's
Club met at the home of
Mrs. Rivers, Wednesday, March
8 with ten members present.
Three new members were
voted to membership in the
club: Miss Jadie Phipps, Miss
Laura Deen and Dean
Margaret Sandals.

A letter was read from Mrs.
Love in regard to the Clubs'
taking membership in the
Fla. State Conference of Welfare
workers. On motion by Mrs.
Fain, seconded by Miss Gregg,
the Board voted to defer
action on the matter.
Letter was read from Miss
Stearns asking for subscriptions
to the Club Woman to
be placed in libraries.
Mrs. Moor moved, Miss Shires
seconded that the club
not do this at present.
On motion by Mrs. Moor
seconded by Mrs. Duval that
the Club accept Mrs. Voss
as a member again by the
payment of $5.00 back dues
and dues for the current year
Carried. A discussion on
fair conditions followed.
There being no further
business the meeting
adjourned.
