Phipps, Miss Laura Deen and
Miss Margaret Sandels.

A note of appreciation from
Mr. Diamond and family was
read.

Mrs. Bostain made a
splendid report of the work
being done by the welfare
committee.

The program was conducted
by the American Homes com
with Mrs. Fain chairman, who
introduced first Dean Sandels,
of the Fla. State College for
Women. Miss Sandels spoke
inspiringly on many problems
confronting the modern home,
recommending an intelligent
budgeting of the family income,
hoping of the family morale
and teaching on the matter
of recreation - not necessarily
expensive but having to
appreciate and utilize the
simpler things in life and
the beauty of nature.
Mrs. Fain mentioned the
spirit of sharing with
others the temporal blessings
we enjoy, thus spreading
happiness and good - will.

The Club was next entertained
most beautifully by several
members on the xylophone
and piano played by Miss
Mildred Hurst and Miss
Mary Ellen Sharpe.
