Increased responsibility and
decreased resources. More
students, less money. More
work [illegible] such as
health safety, sanitary conditions
of the house, vocational
guidance, training boys and
girls to make better use
of their leisure time,
training them to develop their
ethical characters, besides
their regular [illegible]
teaching - Some needs as
listed by Mr. Hartsfield are:
Good teachers, who teach
from our inate love for
children; better pay for
teachers; more libraries;
better literature; a new
high school building;
more equipment; co-operation
of every individual and
every organization.
Under the direction of
Mr. Arthur Williams and
Miss Mansfield, some pupils
of the Fla. Demonstration
School presented beautifully
"A Pageant of Books."
Miss Gregg stated that
the meetings of the
education committee will
be open to the public and
will have a good program
each time on educational
matters and all are
cordially invited to attend.
Miss Gregg extended an
invitation to all present
to the social hour and
